WHAT I'M LISTENING TO AND WATCHING THIS MONTH

So the US elections is finally coming to an end. Phew!
It was good while it lasted though, better than any soap opera I guess. We here
in Nigeria were living the election dream through the eyes of Americans
because its almost impossible to have something so free and fare over
here.
Another interesting thing that is also over was that
'Second Chance' soap, I almost thought that thing would go on forever and did you
guys get to see the amount of people that talked about it at work and in schools-
it was discussed as a term project, GOSH! those Mexicans are good. I met a
Mexican guy recently but he was interested in Nigerian football, that made me
kinda proud, at least we are good in something...but soon afterwards I
remembered what happened to our Samuel Peter (the heavyweight champ) earlier this month, he was beaten blue and red......and indigo. I could hear that kid from the 80s movie crying "the champ, the champ"
Hey, i was in the spotlight too guys, I was. I was guest speaker on the Channels TV show Rubbin Minds twice again and I seem to be improving
each time. I also got my profile on the British Council website as one of their
radiophonics writers. That was pretty cool. As far as dating and hooking up was
concerned...sorry to burst your bubbles guys but that didnt work out well. But
i'm working on it though, just discovered something new about myself, my
attention span is deteriorating! I should be alarmed I know but I'm not coz it's
not my fault, i've been meeting alot of attention seeking guys lately who have
very little to say. Now if my mum was reading this she would say..."with that
attitude honey, u would never get hooked" I'll change mama,
promise.
And finally guys dont steal this idea i'm about to
share with you but some pals and I are about to start this cool biz that is
already exisiting in other parts of the world except Nigeria. I think. but its
sex talk, u know, u call and we take you there. Its as simple as that. ok ok ok, now
I hear my mama's voice again. But it cant be that bad? Now i hear God's voice.
I've got to run guys but do drop ur comments let me know what you think about my
business plan.
You know it just occurred to me what i was supposed to
be writing here...that's right, what i'm listening to and what i'm watching,
OMG, i'm totally screwed. I was just blabbing all the while. Fine, here's what i'm listening
to now and its blowing my mind- Busta Rhymes ft Linkin Park- 'We made it' and
i'm also loving Brandy's new single- 'Departed' that's what I call a comeback. Then i'm watching 'Quantum of
Solace' 007, why? bcos everybody is watching it, contrary to popular view i
think dan craig looks like a thug (area boy) than the sexiest man alive. My
sexiest man alive is Christian Bale, after i watched 'The Prestige" i couldn't
get him out of my head (tmi). i'm also watching 'One tree hill', 'Dead like me'
and ofcourse-'Hereos'. Cheers to that guys. Comments, anyone?
